Quick dash in the middle of the morning today, good cross wind (more of that in a moment).
Time 20.33 mins (I said it was quick), distance 1.14 miles, average pace (amazing, pretty sure I would run slower than this!) 18.05 min/mile. Footwear – wellies again.
Things of joy and wonder – watching the regularity of the wave fronts of ripples running down the road – and how they got less regular when wind drag took effect; not one vehicle coming past me in the lane (blissful peace); as I got home, managing to ‘avoid’ catching up with pedestrian smoker ambling ahead of me – and that cross wind ensuring the smoke stayed out of my lungs!
Jobs to be done – among many, take down Christmas decorations. Happy Epiphany (when we celebrate the wise men arriving at the manger with Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh for Jesus – the very first Christmas presents)
